The NVQ in Business Management shows any prospective employer that you have the skills to help run any dive centre and also prepares you to run your own centre.

What will you study?
Instructor Development Course
You will complete a full IDC and IE over the period of the course
Business of Diving
This is a two day course which covers what you need to know to start you off on the track of dive centre management.
OCR NVQ Level 3 in Management
There are 11 segments in the NVQ course, some of which you will cover during the IDC, IE and Business of Diving courses and the others you will study independently online.
How is it run?
The NVQ is run over three months in tandem with an Instructor Development Course. What you learn in your IDC and demonstrate on your IE can be used as evidence for your NVQ.
The other elements of the course are run online and completed over the three months. You will be assigned a member of the PADI team to asses your progress and you can call on them or your course director for assistance at anytime.
When you have completed the NVQ you will have a Level 3 NVQ in Management.
Each intake is timed at a national level and currently there are plans to run one course each quarter, with the first intake signed up by the 2nd of
