I began diving in 2000 with BSAC and over the years as my experience grew qualified through sports diver, Dive leader and then BSAC Advanced Diver.
In 2002 I qualified as a BSAC Open Water instructor and in addition Advanced Nitrox instructor.
In 2003 I found I was loving the teaching side so wished to further my diving skills so I qualified as a PADI Divemaster to improve my PADI knowledge and then undertook the IDC and Qualified as a PADI OWSI in November 2003 and Nitrox speciality instructor with in addition EFR and care for children.
I have been lucky to dive in many places around the world including the Cayman Islands, Thailand, Hawaii, Maui, Red Sea, much of the Med including Cyprus and the Maldives.
I enjoy wreck diving and dive as often as I can in the UK regularly off the east Norfolk coast. I also enjoy under water photography which has brought a new dimension to my diving. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and it gives me great joy to see the look on peoples faces when they see the underwater environment for the first time and especially when they try a new skill and reach a new qualification.
