Dosthill Diving Weekend deatils

This year we’re organising some trips to Dosthill Quarry, our sister site. This site is an ideal “stepping stone” for those of you who may only have diving experience of Gildenburgh.  Dosthill Quarry is a disused granite quarry that has been open for diving since 1958. Originally owned by the British Sub Aqua Club, it was sold to us in 1987, and you will find the operating procedures very familiar to the well-tried and trusted ones at Gildy.

There are some great attractions at Dosthill:

• It's 25 metres deep.
• It's a granite quarry with clear water.
• Good wall diving-tune up your buoyancy!
• You'll find some different species.
• Good photo opportunities.

So why not sign up for a pleasure diving day or weekend?

Dates:

Book for just a day or stay for the weekend. If you don’t have kit, hire it from Gildenburgh for £30 per day or £45 weekend rate (individual item rates also available). We will take the kit directly to Dosthill so it will be waiting for you. We can arrange overnight accommodation for you at a local pub at very reasonable rates.

Our Chief Instructor, Ian, who operates Dosthill, will be arranging buddy dives or accompanied dives for you. Alternatively, by prior arrangement, we can arrange instructor-led adventure dives or specialities.  Dosthill is an ideal site for Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, and Multilevel adventure dives.
