Enriched Air
Now you can try it while you dive it with PADI’s Dive Today philosophy and Discover Enriched Air Nitrox. Diving with enriched air lets you:
Stay underwater longer
Get back into the water sooner
Credit the experience you gain towards PADI Enriched Air Diver course
How much more time can I be underwater?
If you dive to15 metres/50 feet on air, you can gain up to 95 additional
minutes of no decompression time by diving on enriched air rather than
on air.
How deep can I go?
Successful completion of Dive Today or Discover Enriched
Air Nitrox allows you to dive to a maximum of 30 metres/100 feet using
EANx32 within the no decompression limits of the air Recreational Dive
Planner, depending upon your certification. Your dives will be under the
indirect supervision of a PADI professional who is enriched air certified.
What do I need to start?
For Discover Enriched Air Nitrox you must be at least 15
years of age and be at least a PADI Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying
certification from another organization). You may also qualify if you
are currently enrolled in a PADI Open Water Diver course.
What will I do?
You’ll learn the procedures and preparation necessary
to safely dive using enriched air.
How soon can I be diving on enriched air?
A short overview and you’ll be on your way.
What will I need?
You'll need your PADI Enriched Air Specialty Diver manual.
Where can I go from here?
At your instructor’s discretion, you can apply Discover
Enriched Air Nitrox towards your Enriched Air Diver certification.
