Emergency First Response + Care For Children Instructor (EFRI+CFCI)

As an Emergency First Response Instructor, you can conduct Emergency First Response Primary (CPR) and Secondary Care (first aid) courses and Emergency First Response Care For Children Courses.

You will build on your skills as an Emergency Responder whilst developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others.

Your Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer will guide you on how to structure learning and the requirements of performance-based training. You will understand your role as the instructor in the learning environment.

The course also covers how to motivate students, evaluate student knowledge, present course content effectively, become proficient in developing students' hands-on skills practice sessions, and how to present an effective scenario-based learning experience.

Pre-requisites

  • Be 18 years old
  • Completed adult, child and infant CPR and first aid training in the past 24 months
  • Medical professional such as paramedics etc can be exempted from the above

Individuals who are current CPR/First Aid instructors with another qualifying organisation may choose to earn the Emergency First Response Instructor rating by completing the Emergency First Response Instructor Crossover course. This course gives credit for past teaching experience and focuses on familiarising candidates with the Emergency First Response course philosophy and structure.

EFRI Programme only £149
EFRI Programme if you require the CFC programme £199.
EFRI Programme if you require the EFR and CFC programme £249

A £100 deposit is required.
You will need to pay an EFRI application fee directly to EFR Ltd at the end of your programme. The current cost of this application is available on the PADI Member pricelist

EFRI Retraining courses/ CFCI upgrades
Any EFRI Upgrades due to periods of inactivity or non certifications of students can also be organised to suit individual needs. Care for Children Instructor upgrades are also available for existing EFR consumers and Instructors.
All the above courses will be conducted by our Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and will comply with the new required changes & guidelines.
