Would you like to become a PADI Pro?

Divemaster

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster programme.
The programme will expand your diving knowledge, problem solving skills and hone your scuba skills to demonstration level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities, assist instructors with student divers, and independently teach certain courses such as Discover Scuba, Skin Diver and Scuba Review.

So that the programme can be as flexible as possible to your needs, you have three knowledge development possibilities, or a combination of options – study online, use the PADI Divemaster Manual and Video,or attend live presentations conducted by the instructor. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organise and solve problems. You put this knowledge into action through a series of practical training exercises and workshops, all of which relate to skills which a Divemaster will require in his or her diving career.

We pride ourselves on exceptionally high standards of teaching with a Staff Instructor as the senior instructor on the programme

Course dates

Our Divemaster schedule consists of 2 “Core” weekends, followed by a flexibly tailored internship segment. If you have chosen to do Divemaster on-line theory, there will be parts of the “core” syllabus you need not attend. Similarly, candidates holding Deep Diver and/or Search and Recovery Specialty ratings will be exempt from those workshops, (and we strongly recommend that Divemaster candidates consider taking these specialities as they will stand you in very good stead). Equally, we acknowledge that the Divemaster syllabus and our programme must recognise and reflect the developmental nature of the course, so you may find that at the end of the “core” syllabus, you will need to arrange additional sessions with the instructional staff to enable you to achieve the Divemaster qualification. There is no additional charge for any “top-up” sessions, and we will make an appropriate reduction for candidates who have completed on-line study or who are exempt from certain parts of the course.
Please choose one date from the Weekend 1 set, and one date from Weekend 2.
