Assistant Instructor
Are you aiming at reaching a professional level in diving? Our Assistant Instructor Course is a valuable package to expand your potential and increase your teaching opportunities.
This qualification will enable you to teach a range of PADI programmes, such as Seal Team, Skin Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy. You will also be able to teach knowledge development segments from various PADI courses. The AI course is also the first part of the Instructor Development Course, and is an ideal stepping stone for those candidates who prefer to progress in smaller stages.
Goals of programme
To further develop:
- your skills as an instructional assistant.
To provide you with practical experience in:
- teaching knowledge development portions of various PADI courses.
- conducting skill development sessions for the PADI Skin Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Diver courses.
- conducting open water training dives for the PADI Skin Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty courses.
- conducting PADI Discover and Experience programs.
To familiarise you with:
- PADI Standards, administrative requirements and certification procedures used in conducting PADI courses.
- the structure of the dive industry and provide basic marketing, sales and risk management techniques.
To prepare you:
- for PADI Instructor training.
